I gave in and admitted that God was God.

naked wizard

"It wasn't a question of horsing around when Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe took to the London stage in all his glory. The 17-year-old truly impressed with a bravura full-frontal display that earned him a standing ovation.

For his first leading role in the West End, Radcliffe chose Peter Shaffer's 34-year-old play Equus, where he plays a stable boy being treated by a psychiatrist for blinding six horses with a hoof pick." - Daily Mail, James Tapper (warning: blurred nudity)

Quickly, without delving into an arduous argument on the subjectiveness of nudity, am I the only person who seems put off by an entire room of people applauding a naked man for his nakedness? I'm not against nudity altogether (some of my favorite films have nudity in them), but this just wreaks with strange, perverted tendencies. I'd feel the same way if Radcliffe were ten years older; his age is not what has me confused and bumbling for explanatory words. Something is off, and I'm not quite sure if it is the ostentatious Radcliffe, his probing audience, or the futile meshing of both. I just don't get it. I don't get the applause. It seems awkward.

And I hate awkward.

Titanic: The Sequel

I'm not sure what is more pathetic: the life of the person who took the time to make that trailer, or my strong (and scary) desire to see the movie it could be.

busy weekend

This weekend was quite exciting. I had a few exams on friday, worked that afternoon, went to a movie, worked on Saturday, ran errands, went airsofting that afternoon and evening, went to the Chrystal Cathedral on Sunday morning, and then had a surprise birthday party for my grandma in Pasadena, which was complicated. My grandma didn't want to go anywhere. So I had to convince her to go visit my sister in Pasadena. And then, once I did that, I had to convince her to wear something nice. And then, when we finally got there, I had to "get lost" and drive around for about 20 minutes because the preparers of the party weren't ready for her arrival yet. It was more stressful than I ever expected it to be, and I now hate giving surprise birthday parties more than I have ever hated receiving them.

So I am tired, and think maybe I'm going to go take a shower and read. No school tomorrow!

Goodnight.

airsofting

I went airsofting yesterday. It was fun.
